Carona Knitwear

At Carona Knitwear, we operate out of No 1Bridgeway Colony Extn North. It is a simple building in a quiet corner of the colony extension. We have been here for years, and the place has become quite familiar to everyone in the area. Our work revolves around knitwear, as the name suggests. The rooms are filled with the sound of sewing machines and the chatter of the staff. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address on the gate. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the stacks of fabric and finished goods. We try to keep things in order, but when we are busy, the boxes tend to pile up in the hallways. It’s a real place of work, not a fancy office. We don't use computers for everything; a lot of our tracking is still done in big paper ledgers. The light in the afternoons is quite nice in the main workroom. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. Carona Knitwear is a small business that relies on the hard work of the people here at No 1Bridgeway. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just show up and make sure the orders are ready on time. It is a straightforward way to live and work. We don't have much to complain about as long as the orders keep coming in and the machines stay in good shape.
