You can find us at the MRD Complex, which is right by the Nefearwad Colony bus stop on CN Road. It’s a busy intersection. There is always a bus pulling up or someone honking. We work inside the complex at number 79/51. Bureau Veritas is a big name, but this branch is where we do the actual work of looking at consumer products. We have labs and testing areas. It's not a place where we sit around much. We are usually checking things, writing down numbers, or moving samples around. The lab coats get stained and the equipment needs constant calibration. It’s a lot of technical stuff but we just see it as our daily routine. The air inside smells a bit like chemicals sometimes. We have a break room where we all gather for lunch. It’s a lot of focus and following steps. We aren't here to be flashy. We just make sure the items that come through our doors are looked at properly. The bus stop outside is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a lot of work but someone has to do the testing. We’ve been here at this location for a while. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and we have to stay late. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking. That is just how the days go in the MRD complex.
