Brother Nick Garment

Brother Nick Garment is tucked away inside the Src Mill Compound on Bss Road. It’s one of those places that’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. The compound has several different businesses, but we have our own corner where the sewing machines are always humming. Bss Road stays pretty active, so there is always a bit of noise from the street filtering in. We handle a lot of fabric here, mostly cutting and stitching day in and day out. Some days the piles of scrap material get a bit high, but we clear it out when we can. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we have lamps over the machines so the workers can see what they are doing. We don’t really have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk in and find whoever isn't busy. It’s a practical setup. We’ve had the same group of tailors for a while, and they pretty much know the drill without being told much. We focus on getting the garments finished and packed up for whoever ordered them. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the rain gets really heavy, but we just move the tables out of the way. It’s just a normal workshop where we put in our hours and go home.
