Bliss Garrments

Our place is at 10 Maruthachalapuram 2nd Street, over in S.A.K. Nagar. We do a lot of superfine embroidery work here. If you walk inside, you’ll usually hear the hum of the machines going. It’s a steady sound that we’ve all grown used to over the years. The space isn’t huge, but we have enough room for the tables and the equipment we need to get things finished. We spend a lot of time looking at threads and patterns. Sometimes our eyes get a bit tired from the small details, but it's what we do. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice for when we need to concentrate. We have been here for some time now, and the neighbors all know what we do. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us by walking down 2nd Street or hearing about us from someone else. There’s a lot of fabric lying around in different stages of being finished. Some of it is bright, and some of it is plain. We just try to keep things moving along so we don't get a backlog of orders sitting around. The air in the shop usually smells a bit like new cloth and machine oil. It’s a honest way to spend the day, making things look a bit better with some thread and a needle. We just keep working until it's time to lock up.
