Bavashri Garments

At Bavashri Garments, we are located at No. 255/3 in Mahalakshmi Nagar. It is a bit of a residential area, so it is quieter than the main markets, which is nice. Our daily life is mostly spent surrounded by stacks of cut fabric and thread cones. I have been working here for quite a while now. The space is filled with the sound of sewing machines whirring. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff that works. Usually, you will find a few of us sitting around a table sorting out pieces or checking for loose threads. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment of cloth arrives, but we manage. People in the neighborhood often walk past and peek in. We are just a small outfit doing what we know how to do. There isn't any big marketing plan here. We just take the work as it comes. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and the streetlights outside are the only things on. It can be tiring, especially on the back and eyes, but that is the nature of garment work. We just try to do a decent job every day. It is a practical way to make a living, and we have been at it for long enough that it feels like second nature now. It is a humble setup but we have what we need to get by.
