Our place is located at No. 52 in A. K. Nagar. If you know the Karuvampalayam area, you know it’s got its own pace. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time now. It’s a straightforward setup. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big glass building or anything. It’s just a solid, functional space where Babulal & Company gets things done. Usually, the day starts early with us opening up and checking what needs to be handled for the morning. There's always some noise from the street, and neighbors walking by. We know most of the people around here. It’s that kind of neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through orders and talking to suppliers. Things can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot coming in, but we manage to keep it organized enough to find what we need. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and writing things down in ledgers. We don't use any fancy systems, just the stuff that has worked for us over the years. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or catch up on the little things. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks, and that's where most of the local news gets shared anyway. It’s a basic business life, honestly. We show up, do the work, and make sure everything is squared away before we lock up.
