P. S. T. Garments

Our place, P. S. T. Garments, is at 2258 Rajan Nagar, in the Committeyar Colony area. We are part of the Kaikatti Pudur Post in Avanashi. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s where we are. We’ve been here in Rajan Nagar for quite a while now. The colony is a mix of houses and small workshops like ours. It’s a decent place to work. We spend our days mostly at the machines. There is always the sound of needles clicking and fabric moving. We aren't a huge factory, just a local garment business. We have a small group of workers who know what they are doing. Most of us have lived in Avanashi for a long time. We don't really go for big advertisements or anything like that. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves. The shop is usually full of half-finished garments and piles of thread. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we know we’re working hard. We usually start early and finish when the work is done. Sometimes that’s early, sometimes it’s very late. We don't have a formal mission or anything. We just want to make clothes and keep the business running. If you’re ever in Committeyar Colony, you’ll find us at number 2258. It’s just us, doing what we know how to do. We just focus on getting through the day's tasks well and getting back home.
