Jaya Sakthi Knitwear

We run Jaya Sakthi Knitwear out on Sevoor Road in the Thanneer Pandal area of Avinash. It is a bit away from the main town center, which is nice because there is more space. The building is right there on the road, so it is easy for the trucks to pull up and load the boxes. We focus on knitwear, so the machines are always humming in the background. It is a sound we have grown used to over the years. The air is often filled with a bit of lint from the knitting process, but we keep the windows open for a breeze. Avinash is known for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many places doing it. We have a small crew of workers who come in every morning from the nearby villages. It is a hard-working environment, but we take our breaks under the shade of the trees outside when it gets too hot. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just do our work here on Sevoor Road. The floor is concrete and can get a bit dusty, but we sweep it every evening. It is a basic setup where the focus is just on making the knitwear properly. We have been here for a good while and plan to stay. Most of the people here have been knitting for years and know exactly how the machines should sound when they are running right.
