Our place is No. 1/192 in Gokulam Nagar, over in Vadugapalyam. We are near the Kammanaikan Palayam Post in Palladam Tk. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where we have our space. We handle a lot of trading and moving goods from here. It is a big open building with plenty of room for storage. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the bags are loaded correctly onto the trucks. The sun gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning. It’s a dusty job sometimes, especially when the wind picks up across the open ground nearby. There is always something that needs moving or sorting. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk and a few chairs in the corner where we keep the books. Most of our day is spent on our feet out on the floor. It is a very practical way to work. We know the truck drivers who come through here regularly, and we usually have a quick chat while they wait. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, we just want to get through the daily tasks without too much trouble. It is just a regular local business doing its thing. We close the gates around six and head home.
