Mail Hosieries

Our business, Mail Hosieries, is located at No. 4 on 60 Feet Road. This is in the Asher Nagar West part of town, right near the Gandhi Nagar Post office. It’s a very active neighborhood with a lot of small garment units and workshops just like ours. We mostly focus on basic hosiery items, things people need every day but don't think much about until they need new ones. The building is a simple two-story structure and we use the ground floor for most of our operations. We have a few machines that are always clattering away, and a long table where we sort and fold the products. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the energy. The 60 Feet Road is usually packed with delivery bikes and people walking to the post office, so it’s never dull outside our door. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local people who live nearby and know the work well. Sometimes the fabric deliveries arrive late because of the traffic, which can be a bit of a headache, but we always catch up. We keep the front door open most of the time to catch a breeze, though it mostly just lets in the street noise. We don’t do a lot of talking; we mostly just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It’s an honest way to earn a living.
