We’ve been here at Sri Parvantham Building for quite some time now. It’s on the 2nd Street, just off that busy 40 Feet Road in Asher Nagar. Most days, it’s just us working through piles of fabric and making sure things get done. It gets pretty loud with the machines going all day, but that’s just how it is. We aren’t a big factory or anything like that. Just a small group of people who know how to handle clothes. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery trucks get stuck on the road, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our spot in the building stays the same. The stairs are a bit narrow when we have to carry big rolls of cloth up, but you get used to it after a week. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure we don't mess up the orders. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that, just our workspace and some chairs for when we take a break. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other well. It’s a decent place to work. We just focus on the garments and getting them out the door on time. If you’re looking for us, look for the big 4/9 sign on the gate. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down.
