P. L. Fashion

If you head over to Ashar Nagar, specifically on the 5th Cross, you’ll find P. L. Fashion at No. 6 Sevandhi Street. We’ve been based in this neighborhood for some time now. Our shop is a straightforward place where we work on different clothing items. It’s not a big fancy boutique or anything like that. It’s more of a practical workshop where you’ll see people cutting fabric and sewing most of the day. Sevandhi Street is a quiet enough place, though it gets a bit lively during the festival seasons. Inside our space, things can get a bit cluttered with all the rolls of cloth and thread lying around. We don’t really go in for any big marketing schemes or polished presentations. We just focus on the clothes and getting the work out the door on time. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work, especially when it gets too hot, but we just keep the fans going and stay at it. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it feels like a real local team. We’ve seen other shops come and go on the 5th Cross, but we’ve managed to stick around by just doing what we know. There’s always a new design to figure out or a pile of alterations to finish up. We don’t make a big deal out of it; it’s just our daily job and we’re used to the routine. It works for us and the people we serve.
