Crito Hosieries

Our workshop is located at No. 70 on Kangayam Road. We’re right inside the As Ginning Compound, which is pretty close to Sagar Hospital. If you’re in Tirupur, you probably know the area. We focus on hosiery items. It’s a busy little spot. We’ve got the machines running most of the day. It gets pretty loud in there, but we’re used to it. The compound has a few other businesses too, so there’s always something happening. We aren't a big corporation. It's mostly just a handful of us making sure the knitting and stitching are done right. We have piles of yarn and finished goods taking up a lot of the floor space. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down for lunch. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, which suits us fine. We don't have a fancy showroom. If people want to see what we're making, they just come into the work area. The hospital nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We just try to keep up with the orders we get. The summers here get really hot, and the fans in the shop don't always do much, but we keep going. It’s just regular work, nothing fancy or complicated. We make the goods, pack them up, and send them off to the markets. We don't have any big slogans. We just try to stay busy and keep the machines from breaking down.
