Arun Knitwear

You’ll find Arun Knitwear out at 302/2a1-kupandampalaym, right near the Veerapandi Post. We are situated along Palladam Road, which is a major route for anyone involved in the knitwear business in this part of the country. Our building is just a basic industrial unit, built more for function and storage than for looks. We have a good amount of floor space for our knitting machines and the finishing area where the garments are checked. It’s usually quite warm inside during the day, but we have big industrial fans to keep the air moving while we work. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just focus on the knitting process. The machines are the most important part of our day. We spend a lot of time making sure they are running right and that the yarn is feeding through without snapping. Most of us have been working with knitwear for many years, so we know the common problems that tend to pop up. We aren't located in the middle of the crowded city, so it’s a bit quieter here compared to the main Tiruppur market, but we like it that way. There’s enough room for the trucks to come in and pick up the rolls of fabric or the finished pieces. We keep things pretty simple here. If there’s an order to be done, we just stay until it’s finished.
