Front Line Garments

We’ve been here at No. 253 on Palladam Main Road for a good while now. It’s right near the Arulpuram Post area, so it’s easy for folks to find us if they’re driving through. We deal with garments mostly, doing the usual sewing and cutting that comes with this kind of work. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the daily jobs done. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with fabric rolls and machines humming all day. We start early in the morning and usually keep at it until the sun goes down. Most people around here know us by name because we’ve been part of the neighborhood for years. There’s always someone stopping by to check on an order or just to say hello while they’re out doing errands. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the clothes. It can be noisy with the traffic from the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our staff is local, mostly people living within a few kilometers of the post office. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the work floor and a small desk for paperwork. We handle different kinds of fabrics depending on what the local demand is. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when there’s a big pile of stuff to finish up before the weekend. That’s just how it is here. We just make sure to cover the stock when the clouds look dark.
