Aswini Apparel

Our place of work is at No. 9/380-a on Karaiputhur Road. It's located right in the Arulpuram Post area. Aswini Apparel has been operating here for a while now. We mainly handle garments and all the sewing that goes with it. It’s a typical factory setup with rows of machines and plenty of thread rolls everywhere. The air usually smells like new fabric, which is something you get used to quickly. We don't have a flashy entrance or a front desk with a fancy receptionist waiting for you. Usually, you just walk through the main door and see everyone busy at their stations. We like it that way because it's practical. The road outside can get a bit messy and muddy when the rains come, but we don't mind too much. We just focus on getting the garment pieces finished and packed into the boxes. Most of our workers are local people from the villages around Arulpuram. We aren't some giant corporation with big offices in the city, just a regular shop doing our daily garment work. Some days we have more work than we can handle, and other days it's a little quieter. That's just the way this business goes. We don't make big promises or talk about being the best in the industry. We just try to make sure the seams are straight and the fabric is clean for the customers. We’re just glad to be working and keeping the shop open.
