Apna Garment Fashions

Our shop, Apna Garment Fashions, is at No. 40/100 Arucombai Street in Mettupalayam. We are just off the P. N. Road, which is a major route around here. Arucombai Street is a bit quieter than the main road, but you still get the rumble of the trucks passing by. The shop isn't very large, just a simple room where we keep our garments and a small desk for the paperwork. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the locals all know us by name. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don't have any polished displays or professional lighting. Most of the time, the door is left open to let in some air, even if it brings in a bit of dust from the street. We start our work early in the morning when it’s still cool enough to be comfortable. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the new arrivals or tidying up the hangers. P. N. Road is always busy, so we see a lot of people passing by our corner. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just like running our shop and being part of the Mettupalayam community. Usually, we take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is too hot and then stay open late into the evening. It’s just how we do things here on Arucombai Street.
