Limra Clothing

We’re located at number 126 on the 15 Velamapalayam Road, over in the Anupparpalayam Pudur area. This part of town is pretty well known for clothing and textiles, so we fit right in with the rest of the workshops around here. Inside our place, it’s mostly the sound of sewing machines and the rustle of different fabrics being moved around. We have various piles of cloth in different colors and textures sitting on the worktables or stacked on shelves. It’s not the most organized looking place, but there is a system to how we move from cutting to stitching and then to the final packing. We don't have a fancy storefront with mannequins. It’s more of a production space where we focus on getting the garments finished. The air is often full of little bits of lint, and there’s always a thread or two stuck to your clothes when you leave. We work under some bright tube lights because you need to see the stitches clearly. Usually, we have the radio playing in the background to keep things moving. It gets quite warm in the middle of the day, so we keep the doors open to get whatever air we can from the road. It’s honest work, and we just keep our heads down and try to get through the daily pile of orders that come our way without complaining much.
