Anu Pallavan

We are tucked away on Subathra Opposite Street, right off the Uthukuli Main Road here in Palayakadu. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with the lorries and the noise from the main road, but our spot is a bit more tucked in. We’ve been running Anu Pallavan at No. 14 for a while now. Most mornings start with just opening up the shutters and letting the dust settle before the first few people walk by. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. You can see the tea shop from our door, and that’s usually where we end up when the afternoon heat gets too much. The walls inside could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of work over the years. We usually have the radio playing low in the background, mostly just to keep some noise going while we handle the daily tasks. It’s mostly just a few of us here, making sure everything is where it should be. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting, but we manage. We don’t really have a big sign or anything, just the address that people look for. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city. We just stay busy and keep at it until the sun goes down.
