Arashan Knits

We are over at Gm Nagar in Anna Nagar West, right off Pn Road Pn Road. Arashan Knits is where we spend most of our waking hours. The address is 8/3515 F, which is a bit of a mouthful for the delivery drivers when they call for directions. We deal with knitting and fabrics all day long. It's dusty work sometimes. The machines make a lot of noise, but you get used to it after a week or two. My uncle helped us get the space. It’s not a huge factory, just a decent-sized place where we can get the orders out. Pn Road is always crowded, so getting stuff in and out takes some patience. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to do the work right and go home at the end of the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait. That's life here. We have a few guys who have been with us since we opened. We know their families and they know ours. It feels more like a small neighborhood spot than a business sometimes. We keep our tools on the wall and our yarns in the back. There's no fancy reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in lint or drinking tea near the window. It's honest work and it keeps us going. The walls are stained from years of use, but the machines still run well.
