Fairway Knits

We started Fairway Knits a while back over on Angeripalayam Road. The workshop is at No. 398-c in Selvalakshmi Nagar, specifically on 2nd Street. It is a busy spot where we handle all the knitting work. Most days are loud with the machines running. We spend a lot of time checking the threads and making sure the fabric looks okay before it goes out. People around here know where we are. It’s not a big fancy office, just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty but that is how it goes with cotton and yarn. We have been in this neighborhood for a bit now. The street is usually crowded with trucks and people moving stuff around. Our gate is easy to find if you are looking for the right number. We mostly just focus on the daily tasks of making clothes. It is steady work. We keep the doors open early and stay until the light fades. There isn't much to say other than we work hard right here in Selvalakshmi Nagar. If you walk down 2nd Street, you will probably hear us before you see us. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we produce. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines moving. It's what we know. The walls could use some paint and the floor is stained, but it works for us. We've seen a lot of people come and go from this street over the years and we just keep on going. We often eat our lunch sitting on the loading dock while the machines take a break.
