A. S. M Knits

Our place is located at 5/5 Singaravelan Nagar Extension, right off Angeripalayam Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of movement. A. S. M Knits is basically where we spend most of our waking hours. We work with knitting machines and yarn all day long. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy to look at. We mostly handle orders for local distributors. Some days the floor is covered in scraps and thread, but that’s just part of the process. We have a few machines running, and someone is always there to keep an eye on things. It’s not a large operation, just a handful of us working together. We’ve been at this address for some time now. Getting here can be a bit tricky during peak hours because the road gets packed. We just keep our heads down and get the knitting done. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop and the machines. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. That’s just the way it goes here. We try to keep the machines oiled and the yarn stocked. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening every single day. We don't do much besides knitting and packing, really. It gets the job done and keeps us going.
