Stem Apparels

We operate out of a building in S. T. V Nagar, specifically at 7/288-e along Chettipalayam Road. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main city center, which we like. We deal with various types of apparel here. The work isn't anything glamorous. We spend our mornings opening up crates and checking the inventory lists. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we eventually sort it out. There are only a few of us working here, so everyone has to do a bit of everything. One day I might be packing boxes and the next I’m answering the phone. We’ve had this space for a couple of years. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving racks around, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just rely on the work we do. People around Chettipalayam Road know we are here if they need to find us. We try to keep things moving so nothing sits on the shelf for too long. It’s a lot of physical labor, especially when a big shipment arrives on a hot day. We usually take our lunch together out back where it’s a bit cooler. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us. We have a small radio that plays music while we pack the shirts. It keeps us going through the afternoon stretch.
