N-tex Fashions

N-tex Fashions is located in the Blue Stone Apartment, specifically in Flat No. 7j on 3rd Cross Mariyamman Kovil Street. We are in Padmavathipuram, right across from the Sap Theatre. It’s a bit unusual to run a fashion business out of an apartment, but it works well for us. The space is divided into a small office area and a room where we keep our latest designs and fabric stock. Being opposite the theatre means it’s always easy to give directions to people. The street is quite busy, especially in the evenings when a movie is playing. We can hear the crowds and the music from the theatre sometimes while we work. It’s a small operation, mostly just a couple of us handling the orders and checking the stitching. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door so people know they have the right flat. We spend a lot of time talking to local tailors and suppliers over the phone. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the boxes, but we try to keep it as tidy as possible. We don't have any big corporate goals or missions. We just want to make decent clothes and earn a living. It’s a very quiet and personal way to do business, and we like being part of the local community here in Padmavathipuram.
