Hosery Fashions

We are based at No. 59 on Alangadu 1st Street in Karuvampalayam. This area is known for textiles, and we are right in the thick of it. Hosery Fashions is where we spend our days dealing with knitwear and hosiery items. It’s a lot of work with yarns and knitting machines. The noise can be a bit much when all the machines are running at once, but you get used to it. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People come to the factory door if they need to talk to us. We’ve got stacks of finished goods waiting to be shipped out to different places. It’s a dusty environment with all the lint flying around from the cotton. We wear masks sometimes when it gets too bad. The street outside is usually full of trucks loading and unloading. We just try to stay out of their way and get our own stuff moved. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have time for anything fancy. We just focus on making sure the stitches are okay. It’s been our life for many years now. Karuvampalayam is a tough place to work sometimes, but it's where we belong. We grab lunch from the small stall at the corner most days. It’s just us working hard and trying to get everything done before the sun goes down. There is always more yarn to sort and more orders to finish.
