Akbi Apperals

Our place is at number 12/72 in Sugam Nestle, which is in the Rakhiyapalem area of Avinishi. It’s a bit out of the main city, so it’s quieter than some of the other spots we’ve worked in. We focus on apparel, mostly doing the basic assembly and checking of the clothes. The building is fairly standard, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we’ve got long tables where we spread out the garments to check for loose threads or marks. The windows look out onto some trees, which is nice when we take a break. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people from Rakhiyapalem who walk over to work every morning. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too high. The name Akbi Apperals is on a small plate by the door. We don't really have a showroom, so if someone wants to see what we are doing, they just walk right into the work area. There’s always a pile of scrap fabric in the corner that we need to clear out but never quite get around to. We use simple tools and machines that we’ve had for years. It’s a steady pace of work, and we don't try to rush things too much. It’s an honest way to earn a living in this part of Avinishi, and we are happy enough to be here.
