Aiwin Garments

You can find us at No. 52- J-1 in Thilagar Nagar, right near the Anupperpalayam Post. This part of town is always moving, mostly with people working in the garment trade. We have a modest setup here. It isn't a showroom with bright lights. It’s a workspace where we actually make the clothes. Most days are spent listening to the hum of the stitching machines. It is a sound I’ve gotten used to over the years. We started Aiwin Garments because we knew how to handle the production side of things. My brother handles the packing and I look after the machines and the workers. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us just by knowing we are in this building. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have stacks of finished goods near the front and rolls of raw cloth in the back. Sometimes we work late when there is a deadline, and the whole street is still awake with us. We just try to do an honest job every day and keep the quality where it needs to be. It’s a tough business but we like being our own bosses. Every morning we open up and start the same routine, and it feels right to be part of the community here.
