Aiswaryam Garments

We are located at No. 40/44 over on New Rama Krishna Puram 2nd Street. It’s a busy little area and there’s always something going on outside our door. At Aiswaryam Garments, we don’t really do anything fancy. We just come in early, turn on the machines, and get to work on whatever orders are on the schedule. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and scrap fabric by lunchtime. We have a few long tables where we check everything over. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer months but we have a couple of big fans that help a bit. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting down the narrow street, so we have to carry boxes out to the main corner. It is a lot of physical work and my back usually hurts by the end of the shift. We are just regular people trying to make a living with what we know. There isn’t a lobby or a receptionist here. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see me or one of the guys working on a machine. We use old-fashioned ledgers to keep track of who owes what and what needs to be shipped next. It’s how we have always done it. The neighborhood is full of other small shops like ours, so we all look out for each other. It’s a good place to be and keep working.
