Abixa Garments

Down at Sf Vatakku Thottam on Manglam Road, you’ll find Abixa Garments. We are situated in the Periandipalyam Prive area, which is a bit of a trek from the main city center but it’s where we do our best work. The site is surrounded by other small plots and fields, so it’s got a bit of an open feel to it. We have a good amount of space inside for the machines and the cutting tables. It’s always a bit noisy with the sound of the equipment running all day long. We start early to get a jump on the orders before it gets too hot. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we don’t mind too much. Most of our workers live nearby and walk or bike in for their shifts. We have a little break area where everyone sits for lunch and catches up on things. It’s a straightforward garment operation. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People who come to see us are usually here for business and they know what to expect. We handle the fabric, we do the stitching, and we pack it up ourselves. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously and try to stay organized. The Manglam Road area has grown a lot since we first started here, but our daily grind remains pretty much the same every week as we keep things moving.
