Aadhithya Knits

Aadhithya Knits is located at number 7/23 in Sugam Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area, which is nice for a change compared to the bigger industrial hubs. We focus on knitting and textile work here. Our space is filled with the sound of machines running and the smell of yarn. It isn't a high-tech factory with robots; it’s mostly just us and the knitting frames. We spend our mornings checking the tension on the threads and making sure the patterns are coming out the way they should. Sugam Nagar is a decent place to be based, though the roads can be a bit bumpy when the trucks come to pick up the finished goods. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of workers. It’s a small group of us who know how to handle the material. The floor is usually covered in bits of lint and thread, no matter how often we sweep it. That’s just the nature of working with fabric. We don’t have a glossy catalog or a sales team. Usually, if someone wants to know what we can do, they just come by and look at the rolls of fabric we have sitting out. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the dye is consistent and the knit is tight. It’s steady work, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without feeling the need to change much about how we operate.
