2 Threds

Our shop, 2 Threds, is at No. 53 Kongunagar Street. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, which we actually quite like. It makes it easier for people to stop and take their time looking around without feeling rushed. We deal with textiles and clothing, mostly just handling the day-to-day work of getting things ready for customers. The space isn't very large, but we use every inch of it. There are piles of fabric and finished items around most of the time. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s a working mess that makes sense to us. We are just a few people who know how to sew and handle fabric properly. We didn't want a big flashy storefront in the middle of a mall. We liked the idea of being tucked away a little bit on Kongunagar Street. People who know us come back because they know we do a decent job and don't charge more than is fair for the work. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just show up in the morning, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. It is a practical way to live and work. If you need something specific, you can always ask us. We do our best to help out without making a big deal of it or acting like we are special. That’s just how we operate.
