Jas Knits Wear

Jas Knits Wear is over at No. 151 in Sripathi Nagar. We are at No. 15 in the Velampalayam area. This part of town is always busy with textile work, so we fit right in. The building is just a plain structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our machines set up and people busy with the knitting work. It can get pretty loud when everything is running at once. Sripathi Nagar is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a good spot for us. We have been at this address for a while and the neighbors all know us. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. We just use fans to keep the air moving while we work. The floors are concrete and we keep them as clean as we can. Every morning we open up the big doors to let some light in. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have and making sure they get finished. It is a straightforward business. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do. We just eat our lunch together and keep the machines going. It is just a regular day at Velampalayam for all of us here. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the knitting. After the work is done, we lock up the gate.
