You can find Grace Apparels at No. 15 on Velampalayam Main Road, right in the Anupparpalayam Pudur area. It’s a straight-up place where we get our work done without a lot of extra talk. The road outside is usually humming with bikes and trucks, so there is always some noise in the background. We’ve got our workspace set up to handle the garments we produce. It’s a lot of cutting, sewing, and packing day in and day out. Some days the floor is covered in scrap fabric and thread, but that’s just a sign that we’re actually working. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Most people who come by are here for business, not for looking at decorations. The staff here is local, mostly folks who live nearby and walk or ride their scooters to work. We’ve known each other a long time, so there’s not much need for formal meetings. We just know what needs to be done and we get to it. Sometimes we run into issues with a machine or a late delivery, but we just fix it and move on. It’s not about being the biggest company, just about doing the work that’s in front of us. Anupparpalayam Pudur is a hard-working neighborhood, and we feel like we fit right in with the way we do things here on the main road.
