You can find us over in Velampalayam, tucked away at No. 10 Avpis Gardens. We are right behind the Karikali Amman Kovil, so we usually hear the temple bells and the music during the festivals, which is a nice change from the usual work noises. The area around here is a bit quieter than the main roads, which we appreciate. Our setup is pretty simple. We have the workshop area where we do most of our tasks and a small space where we keep our supplies. It’s not a huge factory or anything, just a local spot where a handful of us come to work every morning. We start early before the heat gets too bad. Most of our day is spent dealing with the technical side of things and making sure the machines are running like they should. If something breaks down, we have to fix it ourselves, so our hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We’ve been in this part of No. 15 Velampalayam for some time now and it feels like home. The garden area is actually quite peaceful when you need a break from the indoor stuff and a bit of air.
