Blue Stripes

Amarjothi Garden is where you will find us working most days. It is a spot that is well-known for textiles, so it makes sense for Blue Stripes to be located here. We are not in a big industrial park, just a regular space in this neighborhood. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed compared to the giant factories nearby. We deal with garments and fabrics mostly. There is always someone coming in or going out with bags of samples. We keep the place fairly organized, but there is always a bit of a mess when we are really busy with an order. It is just how it is when you are working with clothes and textiles. We have a few desks and some metal racks to show what we have been working on lately. The sun gets quite bright in the afternoons, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It is not a place for tourists or anything like that. We mostly work with other people who are in the trade. We do not have a receptionist sitting at the front. If someone walks in, whoever is closest to the door says hello. We like it that way because it is simple and honest. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the stripes and the feel of the cotton. We do not do any big marketing campaigns. We just rely on the people we know in the area.
