Gene Apparels

Gene Apparels is located at S. F. Number 374 in the Anupur Palayam Pudur area. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the spoken English class, which is a good landmark because people are always coming and going from there. We’ve been set up in this spot for quite a while. It’s a basic building where we do all our apparel work. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of machines and tables for cutting fabric. It’s noisy and can get a bit stuffy when it’s hot outside, but we’ve got some fans to keep the air moving. We don’t have any polished marketing materials or a big sign out front. We just rely on the work we do to keep us going. Most of the people working here are from the local neighborhood. We know their families and they know ours. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have fancy offices; we just have a small desk tucked in the corner where we handle the bills and orders. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact spot, but we usually just go out to the road and wave them down. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours and it works. We just focus on getting the clothes finished and out the door on time. That’s pretty much our whole story.
