Yashoda Hospital

Out here in Thuthipet, at the New and Post area, things move at a bit of a different pace. Our hospital is a central point for many of the families living in this district. It’s not a huge city facility with twenty floors, but we have what we need to take care of the folks who come through. The building itself is simple and sturdy. We try to keep the garden area outside somewhat decent, though the sun usually burns the grass in the summer. Inside, the rooms are practical. We don't have luxury suites. We have beds and medical equipment that we maintain carefully. The doctors here often know the families they treat because everyone stays in the area for a long time. It makes the work feel a bit more meaningful when you know the people personally. We don't do any big marketing campaigns or put out glossy brochures. We just let people know our hours and who is on duty. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which makes a lot of noise, but we keep going. It’s just a regular hospital doing the work for the Thuthipet community. We show up, we do the charts, we help the patients, and then we go home to start again the next day. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We don’t need anything fancy to get the job done for our neighbors.
