Sri Annapoorna Traders

We are set up at 48 Sholingur Road in Walajapet. It’s a straightforward trading business. We deal in various goods, mostly things that people in this area need for their kitchens or their small shops. The building is an old one, and it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the road outside. We have stacks of bags piled up high, and there is always a bit of a scramble when a big order comes in. It’s just a few of us working here. We don't use computers for everything; we still like our paper notebooks and thick pens. It feels more real that way. Walajapet is a busy town, and Sholingur Road is one of those streets that never seems to sleep. We see a lot of lorries and cycles going past our door. We’ve known some of our customers since they were kids coming in with their parents. Now they bring their own children. We aren't trying to grow into some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the quality of what we sell is decent and that we treat people fairly. Sometimes we make mistakes with the counting, but we always make it right in the end. It's a simple way of doing business, based on being here every day and knowing the people we serve. We just open up and see what the day brings us.
