Sanjay Earth Movers

Out in Marimanikuppam, near the Elampatti Post, you will find our small operation. Sanjay Earth Movers is basically run from our spot at 12/28. It is a rural area, so we do a lot of work for the local farmers and people building small houses in the village. The air is a bit cleaner out here, but the work is just as hard as anywhere else. We have a couple of machines that we keep in good shape, even though they look a bit worn from all the digging. There is no big office here, just a room where we keep the keys and the ledgers. We know everyone in the village, and they know where we live, so if someone needs a trench dug, they just come over and knock on the door. The sun can be real heavy in the afternoon, but we just keep going until the job is done. Sometimes we have to drive the tractors quite a way to get to a site on the other side of Elampatti. It is a slow pace of life, but the machines keep us busy enough. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people talking to each other. It is simple, honest work in a place we know well.
