Saleem Plastic

You can find Saleem Plastic at 11/8 on Kaniyambadi Street in the Shakirabad area of Vaniyambadi. It is a narrow street so parking can be a bit of a nightmare if you are driving a big vehicle. Most of our customers just walk over or come on their scooters. We have been in this spot for a long time and the neighbors all know us by name. The shop is filled with all sorts of plastic items from floor to ceiling. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we are busy but we eventually find what we are looking for. The air feels a bit heavy in the summer but we have a couple of old fans that do their best. We start the day by sweeping the front step and checking the orders that came in the night before. Most of the work is just manual labor like carrying crates and counting stock. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a polished showroom. It is just a regular shop where we do regular work. We talk to the other shop owners on the street when things are slow. Vaniyambadi is a busy place and there is always something going on nearby. We just focus on our little corner of the street and try to stay on top of the daily chores. It is a lot of repetition but that is how a business like this stays running year after year.
