Larsen & Toubro Limited

Our location is out in Vaniyambadi, which is part of the Vellore district here in Tamil Nadu. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s a good spot for what we do. The Larsen & Toubro Limited office here is pretty basic. We have the usual stuff like desks, chairs, and a few fans to keep the air moving when it gets hot in the afternoons. The sun can be quite strong, so we keep the blinds drawn for most of the day. It’s a quiet town compared to the big cities, and we like the slower pace of things. We know most of the people who come by, and it’s usually for something specific about a local project. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and we have to make sure the roof isn't leaking, but otherwise, it's a solid building. The staff here mostly speaks the local language, and we get along well. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning and go home every evening. It feels like a part of the community here, which is really important to us.
