We’ve been at No. 133 Raja Street for quite a while now. If you head down to Padi, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s K.A.R. Moulds on the door. Mostly, we just spend our days working on whatever moulds come through. It’s noisy work sometimes. The street gets busy in the mornings. We try to keep things moving. We started small. My brother and I figured out how the machines work and just stuck with it. There’s always dust on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. People come by asking if we can fix things or make new parts. We say yes if we can do it right. Sometimes the metal behaves, sometimes it’s a struggle. That’s just how the shop goes. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Just the workshop here in Padi. You walk in and see the tools laid out. It’s been years of doing this. Every day is different. One day it’s a simple piece, the next it’s something tricky that takes all afternoon. We like the work. It keeps us busy. Raja Street has changed a bit over time, but we’re still right here at number 133. If you're looking for K.A.R. Moulds, you’ll see the sign. We aren't big on talking much, usually just let the machines do the work while we watch over things. It's a living. We have some old posters on the wall from years ago. They’re peeling now.
