Down on Mariamman Koil Street in Gandhipet, you’ll find Ak Power Tech. We’re in office number 5. It’s a local spot, nothing too flashy. We spend our days dealing with power issues and technical hardware. The street outside can get pretty noisy, but we don't pay it much mind anymore. We started this because we liked working with our hands. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs like it should. We aren't the type to wear suits to work. Usually, it’s just jeans and a t-shirt because the work can get a bit dusty. We’ve got shelves full of parts and tools that we’ve collected over time. It’s not always perfectly neat, but we know where everything is. Folks from around Gandhipet stop by when they’re having trouble with their power setups. We don't give them a sales pitch; we just look at the problem. It’s about being helpful more than anything else. We’ve had this office for a few years now and we like the vibe of the street. It’s honest work for honest pay. That’s the way we’ve always done things here at Ak Power Tech. We don't need a lot of space to do a good job. We just need our tools and a little bit of time to figure things out.
