Vinayak Traders

Vinayak Traders is located on the ground floor at 7/1/287, right on the New Bus Stand Road in Laxmipura. Being on the main road means we get a lot of dust from the buses passing by, but it also means people can find us easily without getting lost. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now. The shop is basically one large room where we keep all the stock stacked up against the walls in no particular order. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but I know where everything is kept. I spend a lot of my time on the phone talking to suppliers or just waiting for the next truck to arrive with goods. Laxmipura is a busy area, and there’s always something going on right outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to hear customers over the sound of the traffic horns, but we manage to get the point across. We handle various goods, mostly things that local builders and homeowners are looking for when they do repairs. It’s just me and one helper most days of the week. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights to attract people. Usually, folks just see the gate open and wander in to see what we have. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and shifting things around, but it keeps us busy.
