Southern India Edibles Refined Oilindustries Private Limited is over at H No. 1-26 in S U Puramrenigunta. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it works for us. We handle edible oils and the refining process. It is a very hands-on kind of job. The factory floor is always a bit slick, no matter how much we scrub it. We use different types of seeds to make the oil. The machinery is loud and it’s been around for a long time. We have to grease the gears every morning to keep them from sticking. Renigunta gets very hot, and when the machines are running, it’s even worse. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office. We just have a small room with a table and a few chairs for when we need to sit down. Most of the staff has been with us since we started. We aren't a huge operation. We just supply the local area and some of the nearby towns. Sometimes the supply of raw materials is low and we have to slow down production. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just sell what we make. The building itself is just a plain concrete structure. You wouldn't think much of it from the outside. But inside, we are always busy. It’s a steady way to make a living and we like it.
