Khaziazmathbasha Hardware

Down here in Manjan Nagar in Chittoor, we keep Khaziazmathbasha Hardware running every day. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but folks around here just know us for having the tools and parts they need. The shop is filled with the smell of metal and oil, which I guess is normal for a hardware place. We’ve got shelves full of nuts, bolts, hinges, and all those small things that people lose and need to replace. Chittoor can get pretty hot, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we wait for customers to come in from the street. We’re not fancy at all. The floor is concrete and the walls are covered in displays of saws and wrenches. Sometimes someone comes in with a broken part and asks if we have something that matches it, and we spend twenty minutes digging through a bin to find it. That’s just part of the job. Manjan Nagar is a lively place to be. There’s always some noise from the street, people calling out or bikes zooming past. We try to keep things orderly but with so many small items, it’s a constant battle against the clutter. We just stay here, open the doors early, and help out whoever walks through. It’s a decent way to spend the day, even if your hands get a bit dirty from the grease. We keep a stool by the door for when our legs get tired in the evening hours. Most of the people who come in have lived around here for years.
