Young India Travel Services is located right at No. 1-1-3 Beri Street in the Krishnapuram Tana area. It’s a local spot and we’ve been here for a while now. We mostly spend our time helping people figure out their travel plans, whether it’s a bus ticket or something a bit further away. The office is small and simple, nothing fancy about it. You’ll usually see us on the phone or looking at schedules on the computer. It gets a bit crowded when a lot of people come in at once, especially during the holiday seasons. We aren't a big travel agency with a lot of brochures and shiny posters everywhere. We just know the routes and the prices. Dealing with bookings can be a bit of a headache sometimes with all the changes and cancellations, but we just take it one day at a time. The street outside can be quite noisy with the local market nearby, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We don't try to sell people things they don't need. We just give them the facts about the trips and let them decide. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. We’ve got a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait and we try to keep the fans going when it gets hot. It’s just a normal local business run by people who live nearby and understand what it's like to travel on a budget. We try to be helpful.
