Lakshmi Travels

We run Lakshmi Travels from our small spot in Gandhi Nagar. It is a simple setup really. We have been here for several years now, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We mostly handle local travel needs for people living nearby. There is not much to the office, just a few chairs and a desk where we take bookings. Most of our customers are neighbors or people who heard about us from a friend. We do not do big ads. Gandhi Nagar is a busy place, so there are always people walking past our door. Sometimes they pop in just to ask for directions or check a price. We do not mind. It is part of being in a community like this. The work keeps us on our toes, especially during the wedding season or holidays when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We spend time cleaning the cars and getting them ready to go. It is just me and a couple of drivers who have been with me since the start. We are not a big corporation with thousands of vehicles. We just have a handful of cars that we look after ourselves. It is a lot of waiting around for calls sometimes, but that is just how the travel business is. We are just regular people trying to make a living in the city. If you are ever in Gandhi Nagar, you will probably see us sitting outside the office in the evenings.
