Tree

We've been here on Thiruvalluvar Street in Ekambarakuppam for a while now. The shop is at number 6/86, and people mostly know us just as Tree. It's a small place, nothing fancy, but we keep it open most days. You’ll find us near the corner. Usually, the street is busy in the mornings with people heading to work, and we see them pass by. We try to keep things simple here. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it works fine for us. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Nagarimandal is a quiet enough area usually. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign that’s a bit faded. It’s just us running the place. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The shelves are mostly full of different things. We spend a lot of time organizing them, though it doesn't always look perfect to a stranger. It's just a regular spot for the folks around here. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Most people who come in live just a few blocks away. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years.
