Kalamkari Works

Our place is Kalamkari Works and you can find us at No. 10/349 in Salipeta. We are pretty close to the Bhavanavrushi Kalyanamadapam, which is usually a good landmark for people who haven’t visited us before. Being in the Chittoor District means we get some hot days, especially in the middle of the year. The workshop isn't very large, but it fits everything we need to keep things moving. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time. The street outside can get a bit crowded when there’s a function at the Kalyanamadapam, but we just work around it. There’s a lot of activity in Salipeta, and we feel like a small part of that. Inside our building, things are usually laid out in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look fancy for visitors. It’s a working space, after all. We have our routine and we stick to it. Sometimes the neighbors drop by for a quick chat, and that’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t have a big team, just a few people who know how things run. If you're looking for us, just head toward the landmark and look for the door at 10/349. We’ll likely be inside busy with something. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here for us.
